Havering college has launched a cycle maintenance apprenticeship. I have edited this post thanks to a comment from the college - thanks - that an apprentice can be any age, though the government subsidy decreases with age.

Hi Colin,
You are right and we were originally only offering "apprenticeships" however we have opened up the training outside of just the apprenticeship route. BUT an appretnice can be any age - it's only the govenment subsidy that goes down.Please get in touch if you require any further information.
