From Camden LCC:
There's a lot going in the world of online mapping that's relevant to cyclists. Here are some highlights, starting closest to home:
maps.camdencyclists.org.uk
The purpose of maps.camdencyclists.org.uk is to provide a variety of overlaid mapping information (LCN routes, bike stands, TfL Hire Station locations, etc..) helpful to both cyclists and cycling campaigners. It overlays the information on a choice of background maps including OpenStreetMap and OpenCycleMap as well as the standard Google maps and Google Satellite view.
Recent additions include:
TfL hire station locations: Under 'Other markers'
Plan a Route button: Excellent journey plans from cyclestreets.net
Map Type Menu: Choose a different background map, e.g. OpenCycleMap or Satellite
Street View: Right-click anywhere for Street View images, with a feature to 'ride along the road'
Stands: Coverage is now excellent in Camden and useful throughout London. Scrollwheel zoom: Now available.
Help: Use the ? button for explanatory overlay
We also offer a 'Stands Wanted' feature (under 'Other markers') that can be used by any LCC group to mark locations for proposed stands. At present you need a login which I'll be happy to provide. Soon the facility to add 'Wanted stands' should be free for all to use.
cyclestreets.net
This Cambridge-based voluntary effort now offers the best cycle routes in the UK. It is based on the geodata available in OpenStreetMap (wiki.openstreetmap.org), the Wikipedia of mapping. More about that below under the Ordnance Survey item.
Cyclestreets has been in the news lately (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/04/12/cycle_route_planner/) following a FoI request to the DfT which elicited that the government has spent over £2.3M on an inferior system that hasn't yet gone live for most of Britain.
Ordnance Survey opens some of its mapping
(http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/opendata/)
Ordnance Survey has come very late to the online mapping scene and despite the very high quality of their printed maps, it's not clear that they are the provider of choice for for online mapping. OpenStreetMap probably meets cyclists' needs better because the mapping data is continually updated by the community to include new features relevent to cyclists. For example, the new Camley Street link in Camden was included on OpenStreetMap the day it opened last summer, but it still isn't on the Ordnance Survey maps.
For a good explanation of the recent Ordinance Survey announcements see:

Revision of London Cycling Guides
Dr Natarajan Veena is collating amendments / errata for the 4th edition of the London Cycling Guides due to be published in January 2010. We have a golden opportunity to put in corrections, additions and amendments by the end of May 2009. Please make sure you are working from the latest edition of the guides - the code on the back is TFL11xxx.06.07 (xxx being unique for each guide number).
You will need to be precise in explaining your amendments and this is not helped by the lack of a reference grid on the maps. If you are able to copy your amendments to me I will collate a local list and pass on any to other LCC branches as appropriate.
Please send them to Veena.Natarajan@tfl.go.uk
or by Fax to (020) 3054 204
or by post to: TfL CCE Cycling, Walking and Accessibility, 9th Floor, Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, LONDON, SE1 8NJ

London Cycling Guides Revision
Make sure you are using the latest edition for corrections / amendments, please, though you may like to use the grid from the former versions for ease of reference.

From Dr N Veena – Transport for London Cycle Maps Project (slightly edited)
The new 3rd edition of the London Cycling Guides produced by TfL in partnership with the London Cycling Campaign has been a very successful cycling product and has generated a much increased demand since its launch in August 2007. The underlying street survey information has also now been used to update cycling Journey Planner on the TfL website.
CWA is keen to keep this product as accurate as possible to maximise its usefulness to new and continuing cyclists in London and therefore plan to produce an updated version in time for Spring 2009.
Therefore, we are asking you to have a look at the current Guides and TfL Journey Planner and send us details of any errors or omissions in the recommended routes. If you are responsible or aware of road schemes which have been improved for cyclists since the last survey in December 2006, please let us know so we can consider including them in our recommended routes. We are particularly keen to ensure that all the routes we are recommending are legal for cycling, so that we can fulfil our duty of care obligations. You can feedback to us on the Guides by:
(a) Completing the error form on Journey Planner https://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/roadusers/cycling/cycleroutes/Contact.aspx
(b) Marking the location and nature of the suggestion/error on the relevant map and sending this to veena.natarajan@tfl.gov.uk for ongoing collation
(c) Emailing a summary of the suggestion/error to veena.natarajan@tfl.gov.uk for ongoing collation.
Please forward this to anyone would be interested in inputting to the update and send your comments via the above methods preferably by 30th June 2008 and if not by 12 July.
Thank you for your assistance with this project.
